This is a special place which the local community intends to protect

If you are thinking of buying one of these plots of land please contact us so we can answer any questions you may have and explain why we want to preserve this area. Alternatively, you can read the following document (click here) which has been published by Chiltern District Council in response to land investment in the area. It states “if the plot of land you are interested in is currently in the Green Belt it is likely to remain as Green Belt - in which case the strongest policies of restraint upon development will still apply”.

To Whom It May Concern:

It has come to the attention of the residents of Mayhall Farm that the two fields on either side of their driveway have been divided into a number of plots and sold as ‘Plot #, Copperkins Lane, Amersham’.

Each of these plots is subject to the rights granted by a Transfer of Mayhall Farm dated 21st July 1999 made between Rosina Channer and Peter Bradley.

In particular, the plots have the burden of the following covenant:

“Not to erect any buildings fences or other structure including haystacks within 50 metres of the Property save that the Transferor shall be able to erect temporary haystacks within the 50 metre area for a period not exceeding 28 days.”

The ‘Property’ referred to is Mayhall Farm, and includes the communal driveway leading to it.

Notice is hereby given that the residents of Mayhall Farm will apply for an injunction preventing the erection of any building, fence or other structure within the 50 metre area should it become necessary.

If, in spite of this notice, any person takes any action to commence any such erection, we reserve the right to draw the court’s attention to this notice on the subject of costs.

Further, it is noted that there is currently no planning permission for the development of any plot. Please note that the residents of Mayhall Farm will object to any application for any such planning permission.
